Your Personal Brand is Already Speaking – Are You Listening?

A few weeks ago, I sat down with a business owner who was navigating the challenge of balancing his growing company with family life. As we talked, I found myself offering guidance—not just on his business strategy, but also on his home life and even his faith.
Toward the end of our conversation, he asked a question that made me reflect:
“So, are you more of a business coach or a life coach?”
I smiled and responded, “I’m likely one of the best blends of both—business, life, and faith.”
That conversation reminded me of something powerful:
Your personal brand is already speaking. The real question is—are you listening?
Your Brand Is More Than a Logo
For years, people have talked about “branding” as if it’s just a sleek website, a color palette, or a catchy tagline. But personal branding goes far deeper than that.
It’s the way you show up in the world.
It’s what people say about you when you’re not in the room.
It’s what they associate with you before you even open your mouth.
It’s the unique blend of expertise, personality, values, and mission that makes you… you.
For me, I’ve realized that my personal brand isn’t just about business coaching.
It’s about helping business owners build profitable, sustainable businesses while staying true to their faith, family, and freedom.
That’s the thread that connects everything I do, whether it’s coaching, writing, or launching virtual groups.
Your Personal Brand Already Exists—Refine It.
You don’t have to create a personal brand from scratch. You already have one.
The question is: Is it aligned with your mission?
Here are three key questions to consider:
👉 What do people naturally seek you out for?
Not just what you do, but how you do it. Are you known for bringing clarity? Encouragement? Deep wisdom?
👉 What’s the deeper message you’re already communicating?
Without even trying, you’re leaving an impression. Does it reflect the values and impact you want to have?
👉 Does that message align with the mission God has for you?
Your brand should reflect your why—the bigger purpose behind your work. If God is calling you to something deeper, is your brand reflecting that?
Stepping Into the Brand You’re Called to Be
For me, stepping into my personal brand has meant fully embracing the blend of business, life, and faith.
For you, it might mean bringing more clarity to what you stand for, owning the impact you’re called to make, and ensuring your brand reflects the mission God has given you.
If you’re feeling stuck or unsure about how to clarify your personal brand, that’s exactly why I’m launching virtual group coaching soon.
These groups are designed for business owners who want to:
✔ Grow without burning out
✔ Build a business that aligns with their values
✔ Stay connected to faith and family while scaling success

In the meantime, I’d love to hear from you.

In gratitude,
Chris
